Distribution of Easter Eggs and food packs for Ukrainian refugees and families of Slatina, Croatia
Our eggs arrived late from the UK by about 3 days. We didn’t waste any time distributing them though because we only had 3 days until the schools finished for Easter.
These children were some of the 300 distributed at this school. The children were absolutely delighted and most of them thanked us in English.
All these children have parents that struggle to make ends meet, so the Red Cross supply their basic needs. We just brighten their day.
We arranged a day out at a leisure centre for all Ukrainian refugees, just to take their minds off what is happening at home. They talked about their enjoyment every day after this and the smiles said it all. The cost for a day out at this centre was £45 for 20 persons. No cost at all compared to their enjoyment.
We donated £1000 to the Red Cross to purchase 50 family food packs for Easter @ £20 per family.

Local School in Slatina
The photo above shows Finley giving some Easter bunnies to Orahovica Baptist Church on behalf of our supporters MCT SOLICITORS.
In fact they gave us enough money to purchase 200 for the community.
The photo to the far right is of a Ukrainian refugee receiving Easter packs on behalf of her children.
I asked the question, how can we help you and they replied:
“It’s not us that need help, we are comfortable and being looked after by the Slatina Red Cross, it is our loved ones back in Ukraine that need help. I talk to them on my phone and they show me dead bodies that they are sleeping next to and they have no food. Please help them.”
With this in mind, we are joining forces with CFC (Computers for Charities) and together we will send a 3 tonne vehicle directly into Odesa with tinned food and medical supplies (bandages etc) on 16th May 2022.
